One parent/guardian (or a parent-appointed representative, must be 16 or older) is expected to work a one shift for each player they have participating in EPGBA Travel basketball.

Volunteer Position Descriptions

Game Clock – Run the official game clock/scoreboard which involves starting and stopping the clock, and adding points to scoreboard.  Game instructions/rules will be available at every court.

Gate Admissions – Collect tournament entrance fees from spectators coming to watch games.

Gym Monitor - Assist teams and spectators in finding courts and keep people from walking in front of spectators when games are in play (specifically Court 3 in Activity Center and Court 8 (center) in main gym).  Collect score sheets from score tables and deposit in red box at Gate Admissions Table.

Scorebook – Keep track of player points, fouls, and team time-outs on score sheet. Click Here to view a sample score sheet.  This will be kept by a parent from the home team for each game.  We request that an Eden Prairie parent volunteer do the scorebook in any game involving an Eden Prairie team (even if Eden Prairie is the visiting team).
