Registration
All girls planning to try out for a travel team, must be registered and paid for in EPGBA's system by the registration deadline. EPGBA DOES NOT accept walk-in registrations on the tryout dates. No player will be allowed to participate in tryouts until ALL fees are paid.
Registration and Tournament fees for the 2022-2023 Season:*
4th Grade = $625 ($350 Registration fee plus $275 tournament fees)
5th Grade = $675 ($400 Registration fee plus $275 tournament fees)
6th Grade = $675 ($400 Registration fee plus $275 tournament fees)
7th Grade = $725 ($425 Registration fee plus $300 tournament fees)
8th Grade = $750 ($450 Registration fee plus $325 tournament fees)
Full cost will be charged through our registration system. The registration fee due prior to tryouts on Sept 18th. The coaching fee for all players will be due the first week of practices in October.
Volunteer Deposit for the 2022/23 Season:
4th – 8th Grade = $200.
Paid with check on the first day of tryouts.
Deposit is to cover each family’s obligation per player to volunteer their time to work a shift at the EP tip off Tournament. A family who does not work all assigned hours will forfeit the deposit collected.
Financial assistance is available for those in need on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our

Families should be aware that there are additional costs for participating in the travel program that are their responsibility. Additional costs include uniforms, expenses of traveling to and from tournaments, and overnight lodging and food costs at out of town tournaments (ie. Rochester). These additional costs including Tournament fees and the Volunteer Deposit are not covered by Financial assistance.
Uniforms
Each player is required to purchase a uniform kit (reversible jersey and shorts) which is selected by and ordered through EPGBA.
Travel uniform styles will be reviewed and updated (if necessary) by the Travel Committee every two years.
Basketballs
Each player should bring their own basketball to all practices and games. For 4th grade, a Youth (27.5”) basketball. For 5th-8th grade, a Women's (28.5") basketball.
*Per EPGBA Policy: For girls named to a team, there are no refunds of fees for any reason after evaluations. If a girl does not make a team (cut), all registration fees will be returned, less a $25.00 tryout fee.
