Program Fees

4th Grade = $625 ($350 Registration fee plus $275 tournament fees)

5th Grade = $675 ($400  Registration fee plus $275 tournament fees)

6th Grade = $675 ($400  Registration fee plus $275 tournament fees)

7th Grade = $725 ($425 Registration fee plus $300 tournament fees)

8th Grade = $750 ($450 Registration fee plus $325 tournament fees)

Player Evaluation

One (90-120 minute) evaluation by outside independent evaluators during evaluation phase. One (45-60 minute) scrimmage session during team formation. 

No evaluations.

Teams

Girls must be able to play at a “travel” level and there must be enough girls for full teams in the grade level. Some girls may be cut.

All girls that register will be placed on a team.

Players per team

8-10 players based on numbers and/or natural breaks in talent. 

2nd grade: 6-8 players; 3rd grade & up: 8 to 10 players; depending on registration numbers

Length of Season

October through early March.

Rookie: December - February
2^nd-8^th Grade: November - February

Note: Individual Skills Clinics & Player Evaluations & Team Clinics occur over 3 weekends in November.

League Games

None

One refereed game per week on Saturday

Number of Tournaments

Grade 4-6:  8 tournaments
Grade 7:   9 tournaments
Grade 8:   10 tournaments
Includes one out of town tournament in Rochester

End of season jamboree or tournament (usually the last weekend of February)

Additional Tournaments

Can add up to 2 addtional tournaments at the discretion and expense of the team.

Practices

2 or 3 per week throughout season; mandatory attendance.

Playing Time

If basic criteria are met, players receive 50% playing time (if ≤ 8 players) or 40% playing time (if >8 players) over the course of a tournament.

50% for every game

Uniforms

Each player is required to purchase one uniform kit (home jersey, away jersey & shorts).

Uniforms are updated every 2-3 years. 

Each player will receive a basketball jersey.  Rookie receives a T-shirt.

Coaches

All head coaches are selected through an interview process. 

All coaches are parent volunteers.

Coaches do NOT need to be parents for high school league.

Eden Prairie Tournament Work Shifts

Parents work a 4-8 hours shift per player or forfeit $200 deposit.
