Program Focus
The purpose of the 7th & 8th grade program is to provide a fun and competitive environment for girls to continue to improve on the fundamentals of the game. Girls in 7th & 8th grade participate in the West Metro recreational league.
When and Where Do the Kids Practice/Play?
7th and 8th grade will practice Tuesday nights at Oak Point in Eden Prairie. Thursday practices will rotate between either a 6:15 or 7:30 pm start time and will last 75 minutes. Games for the West Metro league are played on Saturdays across the West Metro (Wayzata, Chaska/Chan, Minnetonka, Edina, Eden Prairie).
Registration
Registration will be limited to 30 players. Any kids on a wait list are not guaranteed team placement. No player will be allowed to participate in practices/games until ALL fees are paid. Financial assistance is available for those in need on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our Treasurer for more information.
Teams
Combined 7th & 8th teams will be formed based in-house evaluations to determine the basic skill level of each girl. Evaluations will take place during the last day of the In-House Clinics.
During registration, each player is allowed one play-with request. A play-with request must be mutual between two players. There is no guarantee of placement on the same team.
Teams will be limited to 8-10 players per team.
