All sessions are being limited so that we can maintain a 10 person (9 players:1 coach) per court based on MN Dept of Health recommendations.  EPGBA has established a set of COVID-19 Procedures in connection with the EPHS Summer 2020 COVID Facility Use Procedures.   


Eagle Basketball Youth Camp
POSTPONED - We are hoping to reschedule in August.  We will communicate additional details as they become available

June 15-18th 
Grades 1-8* 

Registration: $110

Eagle Basketball Youth Camp is for all players grades 1-8* who enjoy playing basketball at any level.  The camp will be led by the EP Varsity Coach Ellen Wiese, along current high school players from June 15-18th.  The times for each grade are listed below. The younger grades will focus on the basic fundamentals of basketball in a fun-filled environment with games and competitions.  The older grades will be structured more to a high school practice with emphasis on fundamental skill development.   

This camp will be held June 15-18 on the following days and times:

Monday & Wednesday
Grades 1-4:  9:00 am -10:30 am
Grade 5/6:  10:30 am -12:00 pm
Grades 7/8:  12:15 pm -1:45 pm

Tuesday & Thursday
Grades 1-4:  10:00 am - 11:30 am
Grade 5/6:  11:45 am - 1:15 pm
Grades 7/8:  1:15 pm - 2:45 pm

All days and times are at the Eden Prairie High Activity Center. 


Summer Player Clinics
Grades 4-8* 

Registration: $130

This training is designed to give players in grades 4-8* that live or attend school in Eden Prairie the opportunity to focus on enhancing their basketball skills during the summer.  Sessions will run approximately ~2 days per week from Mid-July thru early August.  Session are 90 minutes focusing on player conditioning, shooting, passing, dribbling, foot work, offensive and defensive fundamentals. This training is designed for the basketball player who wants to improve her basketball skills and vocabulary. Training for these clinics will be led by EPGBA Coaching Director Lo Barnes and Girls Varsity Coach Ellen Wiese.

Sessions will be held at the EPHS Activity Center or Main Gym on the following dates & times:

Grades 4-5: 
10:15 AM – 11:30 AM  on July 6, 8, 14, 16, 23, 24, and August 4, 6, 

Grades 6-8: Group 1
11:45 AM – 1:15 PM on July 6, 8, 14, 16, 23, 24, and August 4, 6 

Grades 6-8: Group 2
11:45 AM – 1:15 PM on July 6, 8, 14, 16, 23, 24, and
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM on August 4, 6


GUARD CAMP
Grades 4-8*
Registration:  $35

This camp is designed to give players in grades 4-8* the opportunity to focus on specific guard skills.  Skills will include ball handling, passing, footwork, change of speed & direction, leadership skills and more!  Training for these clinics will be led by EPGBA Coaching Director Lo Barnes and Girls Varsity Coach Ellen Wiese. Please note that your daughter does not need to be a "guard" to attend this camp.

Sessions will be held at the EPHS Activity Center or Main Gym.

August 10th & 11th
Grades 4-5th: 8:30 am -10:00 am
Grade 6-8th:  10:00-11:30 am


POST CAMP
Grades 4-8*

This camp is designed to give players in grades 4-8* the opportunity to focus on specific post skills.  Skills will include rebounding, ball handling, facing the basket, pivoting/footwork, gaining position and more!  Training for these clinics will be led by EPGBA Coaching Director Lo Barnes and Girls Varsity Coach Ellen Wiese.  Please note that your daughter does not need to be a "post player" to attend this camp.

Sessions will be held at the EPHS Activity Center or Main Gym. 

August 10th & 11th

SUMMER SHOOTING-DRIBBLE CLUB
Grades 3-8*
No Cost.


This summer program designed to motivate and assist players in developing their dribbling and shooting skills. The Club is open to both travel and in-house players, and runs from June 1 to September 15. Players must track their MADE baskets and dribbling minutes by downloading a Tracking Sheet from the EPGBA website and turn in your progress every month. Players will be required to register on our website.  Girls achieving this goal will be recognized during Mentoring Kick-off event.
