Virtual Online Training Sessions 2nd Series - Beginner/Intermediate

These sessions will focus on ball handling, footwork, shot form, as well as speed and strength work.   

Players will need a basketball, water bottle, a device with a camera so that Coach Wiese can watch and provide a little feedback as players move through the drills, and a little bit of space with an even, hard surface for ball handling.   For the Passing & Shot Form session, players should also have a wall (or partner) for passing and a hoop (or 10 ft target/wall/etc) for shooting.

Each session will run for 40 mins with 30 mins of ball handling, shooting with an optional 10 minutes of strength/agility.   Each session will be limited to 16 players to assist with the best interaction between Coach Wiese and players.  Based on interest we will look to add additional sessions as necessary.

It is important that players registered at the appropriate skill level in order to maximize the benefit. We have included some general guidance below to assistance:  

Beginner/Intermediate:
Players need multiple or little demonstrations of a basic move before executing the moves
themselves. Their execution ranges from slow/mechanical to smooth/steady. They have new to basic understanding of the game.

Advanced:  
Players can execute basic moves at high speed and can combine moves seamlessly. Need execute with verbal instruction or with little demonstration. They understand how to effectively apply learned skills to game situations.

Registration: $18 for all 3 sessions.  If payment is not made within 48 hours of registration, registration will be removed, thus opening them up to another player. No refunds for any cancellations or prorating of sessons.

Base Cost: $18.00

This training is designed to give players in grades 4-8* that live or attend school in Eden Prairie the opportunity to focus on enhancing their basketball skills during the summer.  Sessions will run approximately ~2 days per week from Mid-July thru early August.  Session are 90 minutes focusing on player conditioning, shooting, passing, dribbling, foot work, offensive and defensive fundamentals. This training is designed for the basketball player who wants to improve her basketball skills and vocabulary. Training for these clinics will be led by EPGBA Coaching Director Lo Barnes and Girls Varsity Coach Ellen Wiese.

2020 Summer Shooting-Dribble Club

June 1 - Sept 15
Grades 3-8 (based on 2019-20 school year)
No Cost.


This summer program designed to motivate and assist players in developing their dribbling and shooting skills. The Club is open to both travel and in-house players, and runs from June 1 to September 15.  Players must track their MADE baskets and dribbling minutes by downloading a Tracking Sheet from the EPGBA website and turn in your progress every month.  Players will be required to register on our website.  Girls achieving this goal will be recognized during Mentoring Kick-off event.

Please note that your daughter does not need to be a "point guard" to attend this camp.
