We’re looking for coaches—both Head and Assistant—for the 2025-2026 girls travel basketball season! If you’re interested in coaching in any capacity, please fill out the application below. Even if you’ve never coached before or think a team already has a coach, apply anyway—we want to know who’s interested.
What We’re Looking For in a Coach:
Basketball Knowledge & Mindset: Solid understanding of the game and age-level rules—or willingness to learn.
Player Development: Ability to teach fundamentals and help players improve step by step and focus on growth—not just wins.
Leadership & Team Culture: Welcome feedback, model good sportsmanship and help every player feel valued.
Team & Parent Management: Communicate team goals, playing time expectations, and team values early and often.

Summer Intensive Training Clinics
This training is for serious, committed players aiming to improve their game through intense drills and play, that are planning to try out for travel basketball in the 2025-26 season. Players will be expected to work hard at each session. Clinics will take place on adjacent courts. Players will be grouped on courts based on skill and commitment, and Coach Ellen will choose to work with up to 15 of the top players demonstrating proficiency in these areas. The remaining group will work on the same skills with Coach Angie and high school players depending on the group size. There may be movement between groups as players work hard, improve skills, and progress. Movement will be determined solely by Coach Ellen and Coach Angie.
Dates: 14 one-hour sessions throughout June (6/11, 6/12, 6/17, 6/18, 6/24, 6/25) and July (7/8, 7/10, 7/15, 7/17, 7/22, 7/24, 7/29, 7/31)
Location: Primarily at EP High School Main Gym and adjacent side courts
Who: Players entering 6th-8th grade in 2025-26 will train from 10-11AM, followed by those entering 4th-5th grade in 2025-26 training from 11AM-Noon.
Instructors: Coach Ellen Wiese (EP Varsity Coach), Coach Angie Wenning (EP 9th Grade Coach), and EP High School players
Cost: $210, includes all 14 sessions. No partial payments for individual sessions.
