2025-2026 Travel Tryout Registration Open Now!

 2025–2026 Travel Basketball Season Info

 Registration & Tournament Fees (Grades 3–8):
Register early to save!

  • Grade 3: $525 before Aug 15 | $575 Aug 16–30
  • Grade 4–5: $575 before Aug 15 | $625 Aug 16–30
  • Grade 6: $625 before Aug 15 | $675 Aug 16–30
  • Grade 7–8: $675 before Aug 15 | $725 Aug 16–30

Payment is made in full during online registration.

Volunteer Deposit

  • $300 per player (Grades 3–8)
  • Collected by check on the first day of tryouts
  • This covers your family’s volunteer shift at the EP Tip-Off Tournament. If all assigned hours are completed, the check will be returned.

Financial Assistance
We’re here to help!

  • Financial aid is available on a case-by-case basis.
  • To apply, complete our Financial Aid Form and submit before registering.
  • Once approved, we’ll send you a discount code to use at checkout.

Note: Financial aid does not cover uniforms, travel/lodging, food, or the volunteer deposit.

Uniforms

  • All players must purchase a travel uniform kit (reversible jersey + shorts) through EPGBA.

Basketballs
Players must bring their own ball to every practice and game:

  • Grades 3–4: Youth size (27.5”)
  • Grades 5–8: Women’s size (28.5”)

Refund Policy

  • Players who do not make a team will receive a full refund minus a $25 tryout fee.
  • No refunds will be given after teams are selected.

We’re looking for coaches—both Head and Assistant—for the 2025-2026 girls travel basketball season! If you’re interested in coaching in any capacity, please fill out the application below. Even if you’ve never coached before or think a team already has a coach, apply anyway—we want to know who’s interested.

What We’re Looking For in a Coach:

Basketball Knowledge & Mindset: Solid understanding of the game and age-level rules—or willingness to learn.

Player Development: Ability to teach fundamentals and help players improve step by step and focus on growth—not just wins.

Leadership & Team Culture: Welcome feedback, model good sportsmanship and help every player feel valued.

Team & Parent Management: Communicate team goals, playing time expectations, and team values early and often.

Coach Commitments (Head & Assistant):

  • Coach or assist at 2 practices/week starting in October and 6-10 tournaments (depending on grade) throughout the season.

Head Coach Only:

  • Lead team selection during the second day of tryouts
  • Develop and follow practice plans for individual and team development

All applications are confidential and reviewed by the EPBA Travel Coach Selection Committee.

2025 Summer Challenge

Join the FREE EP Girls’ Basketball Summer Shooting & Dribbling Challenge

Who can join? Any EBGPA Travel or In-House player

How it works:

  • Between June 1 – September 13, 2025
  • Track your MADE shots and/or dribbling minutes using this form
  • Choose your grade-level goal or aim for the SUPER CHALLENGE
  • Submit your progress at the end of each month to summer@epgba.org.

Summer Intensive Training Clinics

This training is for serious, committed players aiming to improve their game through intense drills and play, that are planning to try out for travel basketball in the 2025-26 season. Players will be expected to work hard at each session. Clinics will take place on adjacent courts. Players will be grouped on courts based on skill and commitment, and Coach Ellen will choose to work with up to 15 of the top players demonstrating proficiency in these areas. The remaining group will work on the same skills with Coach Angie and high school players depending on the group size. There may be movement between groups as players work hard, improve skills, and progress. Movement will be determined solely by Coach Ellen and Coach Angie.

Dates: 14 one-hour sessions throughout June (6/11, 6/12, 6/17, 6/18, 6/24, 6/25) and July (7/8, 7/10, 7/15, 7/17, 7/22, 7/24, 7/29, 7/31)

Location: Primarily at EP High School Main Gym and adjacent side courts

Who: Players entering 6th-8th grade in 2025-26 will train from 10-11AM, followed by those entering 4th-5th grade in 2025-26 training from 11AM-Noon.

Instructors: Coach Ellen Wiese (EP Varsity Coach), Coach Angie Wenning (EP 9th Grade Coach), and EP High School players

Cost: $210, includes all 14 sessions. No partial payments for individual sessions.
