Spring Basketball Development Training

2023 Spring Basketball Development Training 
1st-8th Grade

Training sessions will be led by EPGBA Coaching Director Herb Tarpeh and coach Hana Beyer.  Sessions are designed to give players in grades 1-8 the opportunity to continue enhancing their basketball skills after the fall/winter season.  Sessions will run 1-2 times a week on Mondays and Tuesdays for 75-90 minutes from April-May for a total of 10 sessions.   Focus will be on player conditioning, shooting, passing, dribbling, foot work, offensive and defensive fundamentals through a combination of drills and some 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 scrimmages.

Sessions will be held at the Eden Prairie High School 


April 17, 24 and
May 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23

Grades 1-4 6:00-7:15 PM
Grades 5-8 7:30-9:00 PM

Registration = $120 
No refunds once the clinics start; refunds prior to the start are less 5% processing fee.  Fees are not prorated. Financial assistance is available for those in need on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact our   for more information.

Registration Closes April 10th or when full.

The Eden Prairie Girls Basketball Association (EPGBA) is a member of Trusted Coaches which is an online youth coach's training/educational program.  Coaches will receive first-aid training, concussion instruction, a nationwide criminal background check and be certified in the Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach® character education course. Upon completion, coaches are issued a Trusted Coach Membership Card and placed on the Trusted Coaches National Registry.
